personality Bella is seen as a very clumsy and pale young woman. The type that liked to suffer-in-silence while other's around her left her alone. She is the loner type, the type that stayed away from the prying eye of those that wanted attention. When she first arrived in Forks, she hated the idea of making friends so quickly but soon began to accept the fact that people enjoyed her company. She is known as a fragile human, something that could easily be broken like glass. She cares for everyone, from her family to the Cullen's Family to Jacob and his pack. She has a tendency to underestimate the people around her mainly because of her concerns for their safety. She is also quite mature for her age, something that she quickly learned from her mother. Bella has a sarcastic sense of humor, especially when she gets mad. She is also fearless, able to block painful thoughts and memories, and tends to come face-to-face with life-threatening danger head-on, even though she can get scared later. She had put Edward before herself and everybody and everything else, but she can be seen as selfish at some points in her human life. She is also a bad liar and has a lack of self-knowledge. Bella also inherited her mother's perceptiveness to some degree. BIOGRAPHY Isabella Marie Swan was born to Renée and Charlie Swan, a young newlywed couple, on September 13th in the little town of Forks, Washington. However, their life was short-lived because at only the age of three months, the happy couple sadly divorced and Isabella was taken with her mother to live in Downey, California to live with her grandmother. When her mother decided to get her education degree, the two quickly moved to Riverside where Renée obtained a teaching job at the local school. By the age of six-years-old, Bella and her mom moved to Phoenix, Arizona and lived out pretty normal lives, Bella visiting her father down in Forks for one month every summer. It was during these visits that Bella became acquainted with Rachel, Rebecca, and Jacob Black though was unable to become real friends because Bella found the climate in Forks unpleasant for her, but that didn’t stop Charlie from coming to visit her in California instead. For her childhood, much to Renée’s pleasure, Bella took ballet and piano lessons but soon quit because she found them to be difficult. As a young child growing up, Bella felt more like the adult than her mother acted, mostly because she seemed to mature much quicker than her mother. However, this didn’t stop Bella from finding time to sit alone and read, mostly because she was too clumsy to do anything else. She grew up as an A-student for most of her life and planned a future where she would get a degree in education and teach, much like her mother. Unlike her mother though, Bella hoped to teach at a high school level, while her mother taught kindergarten. By the time that she was fourteen, Bella noticed that her mother was incredibly lonely without any romance, and encouraged her mother to go out on dates. Eventually, Renée fell in love with a minor-league baseball player by the name of Phil Dwyer who she eventually married. Unlike her mother, Bella was not very fond of the idea of having a new “father” but quickly offered her blessing, and just a few days later Bella turned seventeen. It wasn’t long into the marriage that Bella noticed once again that her mother was unhappy, but it was for a different reason, Phil moved around a lot, and Renée stayed home with Bella. Quickly, Bella decided that she would save her mother the heartache and decided to go live with her father during baseball season, allowing Renée and Phil to travel together without forcing Bella along. Moving to Forks, Washington was a new stretch for her, and nothing seemed to stick with her. Even though she made new friends out of, Jessica, Angel and Mike, she only held the interest for one group of people, the Cullen’s. In particular, Edward Cullen, one of the five adopted Cullen children. And the first time she truly met him, was when one of a friend named Tyler almost hits Bella with his car, and that was when he saved her. He shielded her from the crash and left a huge dent in the other car, something physically impossible for any ordinary human, especially with him being on the other side of the parking lot. At the hospital, she confronted Edward, but he quickly dismissed her accusations in an unsuccessful attempt to throw her off the scent, instead of leaving her more suspicious. Things continued until she learned the truth about Edward. That he was a vampire, and she wasn’t afraid, she was more curious about him and his family, a family that seemed to like her, all except Rosalie. Their romance blossomed until the last moment, when Bella almost died at the hands of James, a vampire that wanted to kill Bella for sport. Turning herself over to him because she thought he had her mother, she almost died when he bit her, her transformation into a vampire starting, at least, until Edward sucked the venom out, leaving her to pass out in her blood. Waking up in the hospital, alive and well, Bella is visited by her mother and by Edward, who tells her that he is determined to keep her human while she wants to become a vampire. After two months, Edward and Bella’s life continues, besides being forced into a cast on her food. Bella is taken to her high school prom by Edward, where the two talk about their opinions on becoming a vampire, both wanting the entirely different things. Bella wants to be with Edward forever, at the age of seventeen. But he wanted her to have a normal life, and stay human. In the end, they put their arguments aside to enjoy the evening, but Bella knows the conversation is not over. Over a year later, Bella turns eighteen and is upset, Edward would be forever seventeen, and she will always be older than him. But her birthday party, things turn into a nightmare, just drawing a bit of blood from her finger while opening presents, she’s almost attacked by Jasper but is thrown away by Edward. Instead of just a little blood, she has a massive cut through her entire arm and is forced to be stitched up. This non-life-threatening moment leads Edward to leave Forks with his family, leaving Bella to her own devices. For the remainder of her days, Bella stays in her room utterly depressed, only leaving for school and barely moving from her room to eat. This leads her parents to make the decision for her to move to Jacksonville with her mother, but she doesn’t want to leave. Instead, she grows close to Jacob, mostly because her father threatens to send her to live with her mother if she doesn’t return to normality. She begins to try and hurt herself, to get to see Edward in her moments of adrenaline, almost getting hurt both times. It isn’t until she jumps off a cliff and is almost caught by Victoria and saved by Jacob, that Edward calls and gets the news that she is “dead.” Visited by Alice to save Edward, the two go to Volterra to save Edward from getting killed by the Volturi, a group of powerful vampire’s royalty. It is here that she meets them, they learn of her powers against vampire psychic powers, both Aro and Jane’s powers fail against her shield. Wanting to kill Bella because she knows too much about vampires, they promise to turn her into a vampire to keep her alive and to be free. Everyone returned to Forks, and things go back to normal, or as normal as things can get. But there was one thing that had changed since returning from the Volterra, something that Bella nor Jacob had seen coming. For a while, Bella had feelings for the shapeshifter that had spent his time there with her as she cried for Edward, as she broke herself over for a guy that seemed to not care for her. And after everything, after all, they had been through, she learned that maybe he didn't deserve her, maybe she deserved better, and the Volturi made her see that. While Edward would fight for her, his entire family would fight for her; she decided that maybe she wanted something else. And that was why she turned to Jacob Black, a guy that made her heart beat slightly faster within her chest and seemed to put her before himself, wanted to protect her before his own life, something that Bella mirrored towards Edward and didn't recieve back beside him running away from it all. And thus, Bella broke up with Edward and the whole vampire world and turned to Jacob. But it didn't come with consequences, her turning her back on becoming a vampire meant that they broke the promise to the Volturi, either Bella becomes one of them, or she dies. And since the previous idea was out the window, it was the latter card that would come into play. But with dealing with breaking up with Edward, finding new peace with Jacob and getting ready to graduate from High School, Bella hopes that she can survive. | ooc info ☆ NAME rissy ☆ AGE nineteen (almost twenty) ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS none ☆ TIMEZONE EDT ☆ HOW DID YOU FIND US? advertisement on darkest before dawn (another twilight site) ☆ ANY OTHER INFO? i like food & sleeping. ☆ SECRET PHRASE garden burger |
