It would be a long time before she came to terms with being what she was, but life was a learning curve. Life was something that taught all sorts of lessons, and she was interested in learning. She wanted to just be able to be herself, that is what she expected of other people, she stepped out of the jewelry shop her mother had in the village. She sometimes took her wares to Port Angeles as well, but she just wanted to talk to her mother for a while. Her mother understood her more than anyone, while they told her mother everything, she knew that she had to watch her temper, so not to hurt her mother. She had seen what Sam did to Emily, with losing control for a moment, and she never wanted to lose control like that.
She brushed her tongue along her bottom lip, she tried to be calm, she tried to just do what she needed to do, as she sighed a bit, she stuffed her hands into her jean pockets. She was still shaky on the whole shifting into a wolf thing, she just wanted to be free, but she was stuck in a group mentality. Plus it was awkward a bit with Sam and Leah, she wrinkled up her nose a bit, but she stopped. ”Hello Leah.” She said quietly, she knew that the village was small, so of course she was going to run into someone in the pack. She tried to keep her thoughts to herself mostly, ”How are you?”
She shuffled from one foot to the other, she was awkward socially, but she tried. She was used to older people mostly, as she bit her bottom lip, a few strands of her hair fell into her face, she curled her hands into fists for a moment, then opened them up. She was still not used to being strong, to being alive, as she smiled a bit to the other woman, trying to be polite but supportive.
