general personality • Jessica Stanley is a chatterbox and is known for her rather outgoing personality, though has been known for being rather jealous of others, especially when they are receiving attention from someone she likes. What can she say, she's your typical high school girl. Jessica is an athlete, being captain of the volleyball team and enjoying the outdoors, while not being a chump when it comes to academics. She can be rather charismatic and does show signs of leadership potential, which is probably why she's president of the student council, though that doesn't mean she's not prone to making mistakes. overall history • Jessica Ann Stanley was born in glorious California, the land of sunshine and palm trees, to David and Lisa Stanley. She was doted on and admired, cuddled to the edge of being spoiled, but hey what child isn't? It's not her fault that her parents had been only children and that she herself was an only child at the time, so of course she was going to get spoiled.

Course, life wasn't all sunshine and daisies, but Jessica wasn't aware of it at the time. Her parents arguing was just background noise in her happy, golden childhood. And then she was five, and her parents sat her down to tell her the best news. She was going to have a baby brother or sister! Her mom was pregnant!

And then, her mom lost the baby and dad was gone, leaving her to try to hold her mom together. Jess was young, too young to fully understand what had happened, but all she knew was that her mom was depressed for a long time. No matter what she did, or how hard she tried, she could restore the light in her mothers eyes, the smile back to her lips. Her mom moved the two of them and her grandmother to Folks, Washington, in an effort to start anew. But her depression continued, and Jessica relied heavily on her grandmother to help her.

Then came Lucas Willson, and for the first time in a long time Jessica saw something flicker in her mothers eyes. And when Lucas asked her mom to marry her, after getting permission from Jessica, she was estatic. Sure, her mom thinks its because she's such an understand daughter, but the reality of it was because she knew that the only thing that was bringing her mom back and keeping her sane was Lucas.

Jessica was quick to make friends with others, though perhaps you couldn't say she was super friends with any one in truth. No one knew her soul, her hopes and dreams. Sure, Lauren and her became super close, to the point that when her mom got remarried it was she and Lauren arm in arm in a majority of the pictures. Every brunette needs a blonde friend, after all. And yeah, when they became teenagers they became a bit more catty, but what teenage girl wasn't catty just a little bit?

Well, besides Angela, because Angela is practically a saint and Jessica will fight the Pope about that.

And then there were the Cullens, and with them was Edward. He was attractive, as they all were with a hint of a brooding bad boy edge to him, and naturally Jessica was attracted to him and had a crush on him because who wouldn't? But then he rejected her, and suddenly he didn't seem that attractive anymore. Also, Jessica believes he totally wears guyliner to make his eyelashes look so dark and thick.

And so she turned her attention towards Mike, with his easy smile and blond hair, and she felt like she was making pretty good progress until Bella Swan showed up. Usually, she would rip out the hair of any girl who dared to bat her eyelashes in Mike's general direction, but she noticed that eyelash-batting was something Bella did on the regular basis. That, and twitching. Besides, she was rather boring and always had her head down with her hair falling infront of her face that seriously reminded Jessica of Samara from the Ring.

Which is apparently Edward Cullens type.

Life isn't fair, but at least Mike was avaliable and they totally had an amazing time at Prom. And life was pretty good, until it wasn't when the Cullens left and Bella had her major depressive episode that scared the shit out of Jessica. And seriously, was Edward Cullen even worth this reaction? Mike went back to fawning over Bella, and yeah Jessica spent a few times at Laurens drinking cheap wine and bitching about his lack of sexual prowess, but man did it feel great when Bella ignored Mike and went for the buff arms of that Jacob Black guy. See, at least that guy has a personality, and smiles.

And now the Cullens are back but Bella is still with the Jacob Black guy and apparently everyone is moving to Folks, Washington. Which is just freaking peachy.

RP Sample • "Wait, he took her out into the woods to break up with her?!" Jessica shrieked at Lauren as the blonde plopped down on the bed, eyes wide and jaw on the floor as she stared at the closest thing she had to a best friend. Lauren nodded, working on taking off her shoes and making herself comfortable in Jessica's room as though it was her own. Which, seeing as how often Lauren is over, it pretty much was. "Yeah, that's what I heard from one of the guys who was there. Apparently she was in like a fetal position and just covered in dirt and shit." Lauren said with a toss of her blonde locks as Jessica sat down next to her, beyond shocked in this development.

Okay, yeah the Cullens were weird as hell with Jessica having multiple theories about them. From their flawless complexions - obviously foundation - to their killer bodies, they're sickingly perfect. Which is why Jess concluded that the Cullens were the pale versions of the Kardashians. They're the Kullens, with Edward being the Kim.

But not even Kim would break up with someone in the middle of the freaking woods because if that didn't have all the makings of a horror movie nothing did.

"He left her in the woods to die!" Jessica gasped again, staring at her desk across from her as Lauren laid back on the bed with a sigh. "Basically. Shit, I don't even like her but I wouldn't even do that." Lauren stated as Jessica laid on the bed next to her, staring straight up at the ceiling. Yeah, Jessica knew that Lauren didn't like Bella because of a guy, and yeah that wasn't all that fair cause it was a guys fault but didn't Jessica have the same problems with her because of Mike? Ugh, it was so hard keeping up to girl code with boys being such stupid idiots.

"If I see him again i'm ripping his balls off." Jessica announced suddenly after a moment of silence and Lauren laughed, probably because she knew it was a toss up on if Jessica would actually do it or not. And yeah, Jess probably wouldn't be able to rip them off, but at least she could do some damage to them, powered by her anger at the situation at hand and a little bit by her past hurt by his rejection of her.

Stupid Edward.

"The least he could have done was break up with her is outside on the front porch or driveway, not in the fucking woods. What kind of sick freak does that?" Jessica question, laughing as Lauren started listing of serial killers from the top of her head, before adding a few guys from their school. "Should we go over there with wine and pizza, to like help?" Jessica questioned, for typically that was the go-to for them whenever a guy had done something stupid to make either of them mad, and typically it worked. Lauren, judging by the look she shot at Jess, thought otherwise. "Jess, her dad is the town sheriff." She reminded her, as if Jess needed reminding. He had been the cop who had pulled her over for the first time when she going just a little bit over the speed limit, though luckily had only given her a warning. "Yeah, so i'll bring the crappy stuff, not the expensive wine." Jessica argued, a snort of laughter escaping her lips as the two of them laughed at this crazy situation.
